GOBO is the studio space of digital artist Aksel Karcher. Located right under the roof of a church building, we overlook the busy Schönhauser avenue, the restful church tower, and the tip of the tv tower of Berlin. electric GOBO is a boutique with a staff of 2-3 designers and specialists geared towards integrative design solutions.
Whereas our main expertise is 3D technology, we are deeply committed to neighbouring topics such as animation, film and video, game art, interactive experiences, media architecture, lighting design and scenography. We work on integration, that means we are constantly researching the synergetic transfer of technology and art in between those currenty not directly connected, yet related fields.
